About me
Dr. Junji Takeshita is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii and Staff Psychiatrist at The Queen's Medical Center. He is the Director of Medical Education and Patient Care Services for Consultation/Liaison Psychiatry. Dr. Takeshita graduated from Temple University School of Medicine, completed his residency in psychiatry at Yale and is board certified in General and Geriatric Psychiatry. He is the President of the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Committee on RBRVS, Codes and Reimbursements and has presented locally and nationally regarding billing and coding in psychiatry.
