About me
Gina Malfeo-Martin is a Team Lead in the Standards Interpretation Group for the Behavioral Health Care, Psychiatric Hospital, and Lab Programs at The Joint Commission. She serves as a subject matter expert in the management of suicidal patients and development of a suicide prevention program in accordance with NPSG.15.01.01. Gina has nearly 20 years of psychiatric-mental health nursing experience and has had a variety of nursing roles within the field.
