About me
Douglas Vance has been with Iowa Health Care since 2006. He served as an investigator, manager, and for the last seven years, Director of Safety & Security. Mr. Vance’s focus is on cross-training officers interacting with behavioral patients. Prior to joining UIHC, Mr. Vance spent 20+ years in law enforcement as an officer, a detective while assigned to the Emergency Response Team, and as a Bomb Technician and First Responder to Weapons of Mass Destruction.
